Additional Comments And Notes :

Bunny Brissett says that music, her number one love, led her to her parent's homeland, jamaica,
where she became one with reggae music.

Sister Bunny's love for reggae found its way through strong vocalizing and her eloquent harmony.
The pulsating sound of her music was mastered in some of the kingston studios she revisited and grew in musically.

Sister Bunny began her professional music career when she lived in Paris, France, and was asked to tour
through the french west indies with Fabiano Jazz Band, and worked on their lp, "Butterfly Island."

in the early 80's, the vibrations of message music led her to a meeting with dub musician, Augustus Pablo, who recorded some of her original compositions.

"the message in the music captured me in all its essence.
I produced "better safe than sorry" and "selfish one" when i first got in the studio with Augustus Pablo
and things just got more possitive after that, " she said, " the possitive vibes in reggae have had me hooked for a long, long time now."

Sister Bunny, through her career, has shared the stage and studio with some of the music's greatest including:

Judy Mowatt, Beres Hammond, Garnet Silk, Tony Rebel, Junior Delgado, General Trees and Marcia Griffiths,
Sly And Robbie, Mickey (D.A.T.C.) Dread, Nahki, and currently with Angie Angel.

She first appeared on a reggae sunsplash in 1988 with Junior Delgado, then an opportunity three years later
found her singing harmony for Judy Mowatt of Bob Marley and the I Threes, whom she currently tours with.

Bunny who plays a rhythm guitar said, " as a rasta woman, " she is happy to see the music take the turn to consciousness.
