Leonard 'Santic' Chin
Jamaican reggae producer, born 1953. Owner of 'Santic Records'.
Most prominently worked with Augustus Pablo and Horace Andy in the first half of the 70's.
In 1975 the first dub album i bought was the 'java java' dub lp on jamaica.
I love the tunes on that lp so i was looking for more tunes on that label, vocal and dub of that release.
I had been able to visit rockers international , it's being one of the highlights of my jamaican trip.
This record shop should be turned into a world heritage site. Your time trip to 70's rockers era.
The owner of shop is Augustus Pablo’s brother, Mister Garth Swaby.
I love this record shop so much! the 'Rockers' label i like the most, the early ones are such nice labels !
