AUGUSTUS PABLO
is a living legend. His classical form of reggae has equally fascinated followers of jazz, rock, reggae and avante-garde electronic music.
He has released released over thirteen lp's and his name can be found on countless lp's as a studio musician playing piano, organ, clavinet or synthesizer.
His dedication to training and producing young artists is measureless. He is, no doubt, the King of dub, a master musician, producer and arranger.
Delroy Williams
has been singing for over two decades.
He started singing with the Afrotones in the 60's and had a moderate hit called ALL FOR ONE, ONE FOR ALL in 1964.
In 1969 he went to sing with the ESCORTS and they had a hit at the No. 3 position on the Jamaican Top 40 chart.
He later recorded with the HIGHLITES and they did a few songs for Coxsone as the HIGHLITES and MADLADS.
He joined the Rockers family in 1976 and did his first LP, I Stand Black. He has toured with Augustus Pablo and has also sung in many cities across America.
Jah Bull
has been a resident DJ for several sounds over the years and has groomed many young DJ's.
Today, Jah Bull is considered an 'elder' in the business.
He recorded two songs with Hugh Mundell for the Rockers label and his first should be released soon. Check him out.
NORRIS REID
is one of the many talented artists groomed by Rockers.
He now resides in the U.S.A. where he has recorded numerous 45's with Rockers, and his first LP, produced by Pablo.
Norris is an artist with a lot of potential and I am sure he will be a driving force in the near future.
Tetrack Band
a trio which, until recently, consisted of Carlton Hines, Dave Harvey and Paul Manganoo.
Manganoo has been replaced on this recording. Tetrack has been recording songs with Augustus Pablo for roughly ten years now and have done many 45's for Pablo's
Rockers and Yard music labels.
Carlton Hines, "Mr. Song Writer", has written songs for such artists as Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Derrick Herriot, Mynna Hergue, Sister Jam and others.
Tetrack's historic LP, Let's Get Started demonstrates their versatility - It's a must for every collector of reggae.
Bunny Brissett
sang harmony with Prince Lincoln and the Royal Rasses before coming under the Rockers umbrella.
She has returnd to her native America where she sings and plays guitar with the Congos band.
Bunny has recorded a few 45's for Pablo and, hopefully, her first lp will be released later this year.
